Ensuite Cabin
Cabin with bathroom facilities under the same roof. Facilities to include shower, toilet and hand-basin. Equipped with cutlery and crockery, stove, television, refrigerator. Linen may be supplied or available for hire at a small fee. Cabin may include microwave, spa.
Cabin
Same as Ensuite Cabin except no bathroom facilities. Required to use park amenities.
Non Smoking
Can be either ensuite or non-ensuite but do not allow smoking within the confines of the building.
Ensuite Powered Site
Electricity supplied to own van. Has an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and hand-basin for sole use of that site.
Powered Site
A site with electricity supplied. Park amentities available.
Drive-thru Powered Sites
Same as Powered Site except entrance/exit through the same site. No need to reverse van on to site. May have ensuite facilities.
Tent Site
Normally grassed area with no power supplied. Park amenities available.
Airconditioning/Heating
Cooling or Heating units installed to make conditions pleasant for travellers who hire accommodation.
Linen Hire
Includes sheets, pillow slips, towels. Available for hire from reception for a daily hire fee.
Camp Kitchen
Building containing cooking, facilities, food preparing area, refrigerator, sink.
Shop/Kiosk
Retail items necessary for the traveller.
Amenities Block with Invalid Assistant
Contains toilet cubicle and shower/bathroom facility fitted with appropriate railing.
Barbeques
Gas or electric. Fees may apply.
Swimming Pool
Either fresh or salt water may be heated. May also include spa.
Motorhomes
Have sites for motorhomes. Specified maximum length in metres.
Games Facilities
May include game/TV room, tennis court, volleyball etc.
Children's Playground
Contains an array of play equipment suitable for children.
Jumping Pillows
Play equipment suitable for children.
Pets
Animals which have been domesticated. Normally applies to dogs and cats. Permitted at the discretion of the park operator. Conditions may apply e.g not in on-site accommodation.
No Pets
No pets allowed.
Credit Card Facilities
Available for the payment of accounts or withdrawing cash. Includes Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa, Eftpos and Cheque. Conditions Apply.
Tourist Information
Information available for touring, sightseeing etc. Includes brochures, maps, directories, guides, time tables etc.
Shopping Facilities Nearby
Businesses that retail goods and services.
Strictly Tourist Park
Do not have long term tenants. All accommodation and sites available for the travelling public.
Boat Ramp
Available for the launching of water craft.
Sewer Dump Point
For the disposal of effluent.
Email
Internet and email facilities available.
Internet Access
Internet access at kiosk and cable. Usage fee's may apply.
Wireless Internet Access
Wireless hot spot. Usage fee's may apply.
Arid Zone
Park surrounds such as lawns and shade may be influenced by the hot, dry arid conditions.
Accreditation
Provides good management for customer service satisfaction.

Log on to our website via the facebook login section and post your best photo (maximum of 2) of your holiday experiences at a Top Tourist Park. The winning photograph will win $200 worth of Top Tourist Park vouchers.

Step 1 - You must be a fan of the Top Tourist Parks Facebook page here.

Step 2 - Post your image and details including park name from which the photo was taken and date you stayed at the park in the below comments section of this article titled April - ‘Your Best Park Photo Experience Competition’.

The winner will be notified via the Top Tourist Parks Facebook page through a message where we will then require the winners details.

1. Park named must be a current Top Tourist Park member as per the Top Tourist parks website.

2. Must be a TTP facebook fan

3. Must provide the name of the Top Tourist Park in which the photo was taken in the comments field of the article and the date that you stayed at that park. Photo will be verified by the park named in the photo

4. Photo must be taken from inside a Top Tourist Park; no external photos will be accepted.

5. Maximum of 2 photos per accommodation booking.

This photo was taken at the Lake Albert Caravan Park at Meningie during our stay 12th-14th March. We have stayed in this beautiful park several times and will definitely be back! This photo was taken at Brownhill Creek Tourist Park in Adelaide during our stay from the 9th - 12th April. We enjoyed a walk along the creek and collected some huge autumn leaves. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, you wouldn't know you were less than 10kms from the CBD! Report Abuse234

We stayed Anglesea Beachfront Family Caravan Park on April 8 & 9th 2011. I also love this shot on the jumping pillow it shows a little more movement. My husband will be happy that although he is in this shot you really cant see his face. We will go back my girls are already asking when we can return Report Abuse230

We stayed Anglesea Beachfront Family Caravan Park on April 8 & 9th 2011. My family and I enjoyed the jumping pillow ( it was giant), the mini golf , the pool, the children's play areas and the beautiful beach which was very close to the park. Apex Riverside Tourist Park in Forbes NSW. We stayed on the 13th March 2011 A great place to put your feet up after a long drive. I would have enjoyed more than one night but time was limited. The hosts are very friendly, the park is clean, there is a waterfall cascading at the rear of the park where our cabin was facing. You got virtually no through traffic noise and could sleep soundly. barbecue facilities and a pool it is a terrific park and we will visit again. Report Abuse215
